How do you fix a scene haircut that is majorly bad?

I just cut my hair today so it'll be easier to backcomb, but it was my first time cutting and therefore I cut the layers in the middle too short. Now it is sticking up in the air when I don't have it styled..





How do you work with it so it doesn't look this bad?

Just put a little bit of hair-spray on the top layers then comb it out...hope it helps
